No , you need a special doctor to prescribe sub. Clonodine and Suboxone are extremely different. Clonodine is a bp med that helps with withdrawal symptoms. Suboxone does have opiate in it. It can be used for a quick detox or used long term. Tell us more about you. What are you taking and how much, how long ? It will help us help you.
certain dr.s can scribe subxone, i went on the subxone site and used there dr. locator, today is my 2nd day taking sub, i have ZERO withdrawl and ZERO cravings. I'm still trying to adjust to it and how or what i'm suppose to be feeling or not. I called every dr. listed and with AMAZING luck i found an AMAZING dr. and staff that made this ordeal alot easier. Good luck
I had a 15 norco a day habit, two at a time. I am on day 5 of clonidine, but am craving so badly that I just cry. All these triggers. Getting in the car, before I eat, before I get out of bad. I just don't get out of bed anymore, but the WDs (sweating etc) are basically gone. I had this addiction for almost 10 years. I guess I have a bad reason for stopping, not really because I want to, but because it has gotten to be too difficult jugling doctors. I never bought off the street or online. Thought about it though.
Day 5 is great ! Things will get better little by little. Keep reading and posting. It really helps. You will meet some great people here and get lots of support.
A combo of clonidine and ativan works well but needs to be administered by a doc. It kinds of put you to sleep for a few days or so and has no residule withdarwl like sub . all the best
