A New Year. Thank Good!

Im so glad to say goodby to 2010. Im done with this year. So done. Its been the hardest year of my life. Alot of it was because of pills and alot was just life. Not sure if anybody is thinking about using tonight but please dont. Dont be high on pills the first second of a new year. Be safe. Dont Drink and drive. Bye Bye 2010 I never wanna see you again. Ever.

It really wasn't awful for me!  I quit in 2010 for the last time!  BUT, I'm hoping 2011 will be my first ENTIRE year clean!  I'll let you all know next December 31st!!!!!!!! : )

I agree 2010 was an awful year!! I went to more funerals than weddings and we are only 35!! I look at all the money we spent last year and it makes me SICK!! I am already planning a sweat vacation for my kids with our income tax return. Last year we blew it on the devil!! Husband starts a brand new job on Monday that will not be labor intensive thank god and he will get paid well I am ready to have a savings account again.....remember those???? 25 Days clean for us and we are doing great. I am curios though if anyone knows the reason behind two things.... Why the sneazing constantly? And why does you sex drive come back like your fifteen?

The Aleve is working great for my husband to!! And his stomach isnt on fire anymore from all the pills he can actually eat normal food again!!

Hey man, I've read many of your posts and I fully understand your desire to kick 2010 to the curb. You've had it about as rough as it can get. Your positive attitude is inspiring.

I think there might be one good thing about 2010.  It was the year many of us decided to quit and get well.  So it can't be all bad, right? :)

Yes Aleve!!!  Me too.  I couldn't believe how well they worked for my OA.  Never would have believed it before.

Right on brotha. It's going to feel so good to start the new year clean physically and mentally. When I was in the depths of my addiction I didn't think it would ever be possible to feel this good on my own.

And this totaly amazes me, my back was really sore last night (I spent the whole day in my recliner watching tv and reading medhelp) and I tossed back two Aleeve and they WORKED! Took about thirty minutes to kick in but I couldn't believe that two simple OTC pain meds actually worked. Six months ago I would have needed a half dozen percs or a dozen vics to make that go away.

Good times, they are a comin. Bring on the New Year! I can't wait.

i am a little bit scared with the coming year ... i have had a couple of  bad years and i just don't dare wishing for a better one, as long as it is not worse, i knock on wood. Yeah, i know i have to keep being positive but i am a little bit scared of reality as it has been for the last years... Ok, happy new year to all of us !:)
