imho. Not long if you abuse them.
It does not take to long to form a mental dependance. For me, it took about 1 month of doing them constantly, every day..But everyone is different. I took them for almost one year, but not every day, and wasnt addicted. Just addicted to the mental desire for them. But after I started them evryday, it felt like overnight. Not only do you become addicted, your tolerance rises and the need rises...Good Luck...

it depends on the type, how much you take, why you take it, and how consistently you take it. sorry i couldn't be more specific. if it's a prescribed drug you are talking about, the pharmacist can tell you more. just give one a call.

Hi Seriously, It all depends on the type of drug and it's half-life. When I was
much younger and never did any type of drugs, got to try Free-base. I was
hooked immediately. It was the best feeling I ever felt. Kept doing it eveyday, and well, that was that.Hooked for 8 years on Coke.
I'd say it might take a little longer for prescription meds to get you mentally
and physically dependant on them, but I may be wrong.
Welcome to the forum,if your new,I'm a newbie also. Good Luck and hope you
get everything you need here.

Welcome,
I was sent to an inpatient and drug rehab for 6 months there were 60 people in our Dorm.....
One day we had a drug conselor speaker.....he asked this question how many of you have a parent or grandparent who is an addict or alcoholic.?
Everybody raised their hands.............60 out of 60
If you are in this situation your dependency could be very fast.......
Narcotics seduce the brain and when it gets control your dependent.....
exactly how long that takes it really up to the person........
