finally,someone like me.

         This comment is to feelssobad,
you are the first person that i have come across that i can relate to in terms of the quanity of hydro/ oxy etc.that you have taken. I am definitly in the same catagory, my question to you is, at some point in your addiction or even when you tried to cut down, did you ever have a constant ringing in your ears.
I have had the ringing for months now and its helped me to really want to stop taking the drug. i have'nt talked to a doctor hoping it will go away when i ween down to almost nill.
Please let me know if you or anyone you know of has had this problem and hopefully will it ever stop after becoming clean.       Thank you,   BTHERE

Tinnitus or a ringing in the ears is a very common side effect from chronic opiate use. Dr. Drew once commented that very large users were more prone to deafness as well. Only time will tell whether it will go away. For some it subsides, for others it remains indefinitely.

Hey, I have ringing too!  I thought I just had damaged my hearing somehow.  It's been so bad at times that I haven't been able to sleep.
