Congrats on 9 days! For sleep I took Melatonin! Now I have discovered Alteril! I think it helps even more! It is a natural supplement that contains L-Tryptophan, Glycine, and Melatonin! You can find it a Walmart and such. Good luck and stay strong!
Congrats to you! I'm on day 8...same thing...it's the sweating and the no-sleep thing that's really being persistent. Esp the no sleep...it's so hard to stay positive and active (which is what we must do at this point!) when you're EXHAUSTED! I dunno...I just keep pushing through...and posting and talking to people...what else can you do?
I used melatonin to help with the sleep problems. But sleep is the last piece to fall in to place. In fact, I looked back at my post detox postings and found that I wrote more about my sleep struggles than I did about the hellish withdrawal!
And this is a promise - your happiness comes back, by the truck loads. You have to give it time, but your mind and body will heal, and before you know it you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner.
