how bad can darvocet hurt me?

im addicted to darvocet it first started when i was fourteen when i had surgery for my scoliosis it was for my back pain,i started taking four pills at a time for a couple years and then i stopped for a few years but then i had a baby and my back started to hurt so now ive been taking four pills a night all at once and when i dont have pills i get depressed i just want to know if taking them so much can hurt me or even kill me?

4 @ a time is 2600 mg of aceto...thats a lot for a single dose...thats more than half of the alloted maxium dose per 24 hrs.  And even if they *had* no aceto in them, its still a problem..youre addicted to the synthetic opiate in it regardless.  Do you WANT to get off them, or are you simply fishing for answers if its "OK" to keep taking them at this dose?

I agree, if you have been on them for a while and they are not working then its not worth it. Plus 4 at a time is a lot of tylonal....

If you are depressed let the doctor know- they will hopefully put you in the right place!!!

Any drug that we consume like this can hurt us or kill us.  I hope you will stop taking these as our tolerance builds and we take more and more.  You say when you dont take them you are depressed.  How old is your baby?  You have come to the right place as we are here to support you.......sara
