Unfortunately I am a pain patient but suffer from negative and adverse side effects of oxy- I am on a too low of a dose for the Many years of experience with this prescription- people with Fibro may also benefit from this suggestion- I dont know how it works but the other day I tried Gnc triple strength oil with vit d Also tried the one with Krill because it's the same dosing but you take 2 instead of one, had some minimal facial swelling but it did have such a fast benefit, I had to take the one with krill to be able to have half the dose into my body got used to it. It has many benefits but for me I like the anti inflammatory benefit - it allows me to space out my pain medication dosing ...... Imagine getting mad without the intense fight or flight response or fast heart rate - interesting supplement- also for sleep or instead of low lorazepam dose and with ambien not always working - I take GNC Melatonin 3 ....... Get a great 4-5 hrs of sleep when I was not getting any!!!! I never post but I am confident this could decrease someone's suffering out there suffering by at least 50% or more -especially if you have anxiety - for those going thru withdrawal - I read what detox centers use to ellininate the cause of pain associated with it- fish oil - antioxidants GABA and fluids and vitamins is part of there plan- it may be your only option and be surprised how it works- GNC is pricy but worth it- can always return it ...... Others claim they take a lot higher doses but It's not on the label for dosing recommendations so It may be what works per individual - I've tried to go off oxy before but since I have such bad Fibro pain/ muscle pain-spasms  and sick all the time I just can't function off of it- I never could get off- never been one to abuse either- I'll update on posts if I have any other findings or results- maybe I'll be " normal " again one day :)

thanx for your support..... this forum was amazing for information and support....I got my hands on some ativan, but I tried to go to bed without... fell asleep around 1:30 and was woken up at 3 by my toddler..... then couldn't go back to bed again..... 2 ativans later still not sleeping.... a shower later.... still not sleeping..... 5 a.m. shot of vodka..... finally went to sleep but had to be up at 8 a.m. Still a lot better than the previous nights.... I don't want to keep taking the ativan, and i don't want to have to drink liquor to sleep either..... ugh so frustrating..... I just hope I'm one of the lucky ones and my sleep schedule will go back to normal. As for cravings I really don't have any.... I've been abusing percs for about 3 - 4 months, it felt great to have extra energy to clean the house, play with the kids, make dinner, I felt like super mom..... I honestly felt like they were making me a better person..... thank goodness I realized how stupid that was this soon, reading some of the other peoples stories on here I'm thankful that I didn't go down this path and into worse things, that I didn't lose people I love, or my job......  Still feel like such a faker, I played the really bad flu card, my parents swooped in to help with the kids so I could lay in bed for the first three days........ I never want to do that to them or myself again...... thank god I have the most supportive fiancee in the world who believes in me and loves me and was there to help me through.......Now I'm at Day 6 and it feels absolutely great! Hope I can sleep tonight... cross your fingers :)

Great job on 5 days! Thats wonderful. It *****. Sleep and energy are usually the last to return to normal. It can take weeks sometimes months. You could try some melatonin. It has worked for me. You can pick that up at walmart walgreens cvs almost anywhere. U will find it with the vitamins. Valerian root has a calming affect and may work also. You could also try tylenol or advil pm if ur still having some aches and pains. Two birds one stone? I knw the lack of sleep is frustrating and just plain exhausting. But weeks sometimes months of an interuppted sleep schedule is so worth living a clean sober life. Some light excersise and a nice warm bath or shower before bed can help promote sleep. If all else fails you could ask your dr 4 suggestions or a script for a sleep aide. But be aware those have the potential for dependency. I hope this has helped you some what? Keep plowing thru. Your doing great. Do you have some type of after care lined up? Na meetings or 1 on 1 therapy is CRUCIAL 2 keep sobriety! Good luk

I do not take those, I am taking and starting to kick norcos, however, I hear that they both have insomnia as WD's. You will get more answers. From what I understand, depending on how much you were taking, is how long it will take for the insomnia to go away. I could be wrong, but I have seen it take three months according to some people on here for it all get back to normal. Please though, I am just posting mainly so you can see that people will notice your question and they will help. There are many amazing people who want to help, please just give it a while, soon you will have all the support you need.
