i can't believe it worked!!!!

as i was typing my last post about feeling a lil better today i got a phone call from a friend who is still mad at me about things i did when i was always drunk....as soon as i saw her name on the phone ALL the sx came rushing back along with a heavy dose of guilt and self-hating....but i was taught the serenity prayer last night, so i took a couple breaths...said it a few times and.....IT WORKED. unreal. i'm sure it won't always be that easy, but it worked today and it's supposed to be day by day, right?
