I also agree wit the above posters. a large leap from 4 tabs a day too sub. also sub is not real effective for pain relief. research your decisions and make sure you are doing things for the right reasons. I also agree with what you are taking now the wd are very doable. finding alternative ways to relive the pain would be ideal. while using our pain increases over time so it may be good to get off them for a time to see just where your true pain level is..
i must agree with IBKleen, i also replied to your previous post, i honestly think you will swap one addiction for another, i have read lots of posts on here about how difficult it is to come off sub, i really do wish you well, but maybe you need to look into things a bit more, the withdrawals from your pain pills are doable, best wishes sudie
You just posted two hours ago and talked about getting off the pills. In those two hours you decided on Suboxone? I really, really have to suggest that you do a bit more research before making that decision.
First off, it is not a miracle pill and comes with it's own set of problems. It is very addictive and if not used properly I promise you will be back here asking about how to get off of it. It is recommended that if you decide to go on the program, that you follow it to the letter by using it as a means to get your life back in order. It should always be used in conjunction with outside support and counseling. As I mentioned, it is addictive and if you are simply going to take it to ward off the withdrawal---you will be in trouble.
Secondly, so many people are taking it today--in a good and bad way that they have included testing for it in the standard tests. If you are looking to beat the drug test with it, you may be in for a surprise.
Listen, I am not trying to discourage you. I would like to see you succeed but this seems like such a quick decision and I don't want to see you regret it. Please do some more research before you decide.
