if anyone knows

Can you possibly get physically addicted to opiate pain pills in 2 months of daily use? They are prescribed but I don't want to go through withdrawal ever again.

Yes you can but getting off them is much easier than someone with long term use..

Studies show that physical dependency to opiates can occur in as little as 2 weeks of daily use. Most assume it is the flu after they cease usage in the short term. Are withdrawls as severe as years of exposure, highly unlikely.

I would think you will be uncomfortable when you stop taking them, yes, but will it be the same as full blown withdrawal from years of daily use...I wouldn't think so.
However, if you've already been through w/d....you know this answer....
I would stop now if you can....
Good Luck...
