Real pain and WD.  Yeah...I think there are a few people here who have gone thru that! lol

I agree with IBKleen.  Have you talked to someone or your doctor about the situation?

Sorry to her of your relapse. A good many of us have pain and have found things that do work for us to control it to a point that it is manageable. If the pain pills help you and you are not abusing them, then they are good for that. But if you continue to take more than prescribed, then they will never work correctly for you so you will need to search for something that DOES help.

Do you have a pain mngt doctor to speak with? If so, that is a great start. Do some research on the internet for alternatives and maybe post in the pain mngt community here at MH---see what those members are saying and doing.

As far as taking a pill to get off of a pill---I don't recommend it for several reasons. Opana is a morphine derivative and highly addictive---an opiate in fact. Valium is also very addictive and hard to come off of. You are here because you abused your meds. So how do you intend to "control" the meds you are thinking about taking to get off of the pain meds? See what I am saying?

Personally, I think you need professional help. If the pain continues to push you to relapse then you need to have a plan to prevent that from happening over again.

So what do you think about talking with your doctor?
