long term pain doc. Oxycodone prescription--how will this effect my body long term?

I have detoxed once from oxycodone to control extreme messed up back, also Xanax for sleep aid.  I then had two back surgeries, and a shoulder replacement...pain still here!  I can't see getting off these meds For pain--what is this doing to my body long term? I don't know what to do next...hate the pills, hate the pain.

Yes Sarah asked the number #1 question,do you take your pills as directed? Do you run out early every month? And to answer your question YES they will start to cause more and more issues the longer you take them. Millions of people with chronic pain have learned to live without the narcos.
