There is a place in CA that conducts the Weisman Method of detox, I know for Tramadol and most likely for other opiates and drugs. Google or Dogpile it and you should find it.
For anyone very concerned with the w/d symptoms their process is to admit you into their facility (hospital like) and for 4 days they put you under anethstia (sp?) so that you sleep thru the physical detox pain. They closely monitor you, and most people return a better life in just a few days. You will still have to fight the mental aspect of the addiction if you have one. If you hate the drug, you may not have that. Good luck.
i was a long term lorcet/lortab user. i now have bad w/d from suboxone. it seems like a miracle drug all the w/d from the lorcet/lortab go away and well you feel good. they just dont tell you the hard time a number of people who take small doses for a couple of months have.I wish i would have never used the suboxone and had the strength to detox off lorcet/lortabs but thats just my opinion everyones different.take care
Withdrawals are bad and they can in some cases be dangerous. Go to www.suboxone.com find a Dr. that can prescribe suboxone. Using the suboxone along with a good support group is the best way to go. I had no w/d systems and I had been taking lortab for 4 years because of surgeries. This stuff works great!
Lortab addiction can be dangerous in the fact that you will sell your soul for a pill... and you will end up going though withdrawals a million times but they will never matter because after the lortab changes your brain receptors, you will go back to get it no matter what.... so yes, Lortab addiction is dangersous for every aspect of your life but not only that, it will bring you and your loved ones to a piece of bread...
Welcome to the Forum!
To our knowledge here, we know that you can and do live through w/d. Keep in mind, this is for those who are not compromised in their health. You may experience strong flu type symptoms. Diarrhea, cramps, rls and sleeplessness are very common. Pain may increase before it gets better. The physical withdrawals can last 5-7 days and may linger for a week or two.
What will help us help you, is to know hwo much per day and per dose you are taking. Also, how long you have been using.
