WHEN TAKING OPIODS ON A DAILY BASIS, IS IT SAFE TO REDUCE THE USAGE UNTIL YOU ARE FREE OF THE DESIRE TO TAKE THEM?  IF SO, HOW MUCH WOULD BE SAFE TO LESSEN IF FOR EXAMPLE YOU TAKE 4 TO 5 DAILY?

There is an article on tapering in the health pages to your right under DISCUSSION...I mportant not to spike your dose and go to small doses throughout the day til u quit gradually reducing...tapering is not pain free for most...and not always easy to stick to...i did a quick taper and was really ready to be finished by the end of it...good luck

I would reduce by one pill a week.
Week 1: 1 pill 4 times a day
Week 2: 1 pill 3 times a day
Week 3: 1/2 pill 4 times a day (2 pills per day)
Week 4: I/2 pill 2 times a day (1 pill per day)
Week 5: 1/2 pill 1 time a day (1/2 pill per day)

Does this sound doable? Do you have enough pils to do this?

HI YES AND WHAT YOU ARE looking for is called a taper schedule..  avisg is our residaent taper schedule maker lol.  just send her  a pm with the amount yo take daily and how many pills you have for a taper.  i am so glad you have decided to regain your life.  you wont be sorry.  i am going to soon be 4 months clean and life is awesome.  keep posting it is a great outlet.
