methadone help

hello im eric im a 21 yr old kid i been on methadone for 8 months 90 millagrams i got kicked out of the clinic yestrday i would like to know what i could do so i dont detox i got alot of suboxone i was told if i take them they will  put me in instent withdrwal what should i  do help me

you need to wait at least 24 hours before taking the suboxone. If not you will be sick. (from my experience) they told me to wait 24 hours but after about 12 hrs I couldn't wait anymore. I threw up for the next few hours non stop and was still feeling sick for another few hours after that. But after that first day I was fine and they helped me tremendously. Best of luck

Welcome to the forum.....God I hate methadone clinics they just kick people  to the curb and expect them to detox off 90mg of methadone....I was on that stuff for 6 1/2 yrs at 150mg
I did a slow taper and got off.... jumping off at 90 would be horific we had members do it
and go threw some awful withdrawals and survive....right now your in a jam you cant take sub till your dose f methadone is down around 20mg your at 90mg the physicians desk reference suggests induction at 20mg after a 24hr period it said you could do 30mg after 72 hrs at 90 they dont recommend it if you are going to go on sub you need to get to a sub doctor who can ween you down on the methadone b/4 induction PLEASE DONT TRY THIS YOURSELF persicaptated withdrawals are long lasting and hard withdrawal and we have had members try and do what your doing only to mess it up and really suffer you might try a different clinic and just stick with the methadone the best advise I got for you is get off all of it wile your still young you could wind up like me a worn out old hippie that trys to keep people from making the same mistakes I have made I wish you luck please take my advise ......Gnarly
