methadone??

Detoxing off methadone at 10 miiligrams require hospital detox??That   seems so severe.I talked to a drug counselor and she said they wont admit me for inpatient detox on such a low dose.. It scares me when alot of people say you can't quit methadone without going in the hospital..Ruthie

my husband is currently on day 6 of quitting cold turkey at a 60mg ... today is the worst day so far but he's damn stubborn and really wants to stop! i hear mixed things about cold turkey and i bet you the reason he's doing so well is cause he is tired of being sick and tired and knows when this is over it's over for good!

i quit cold turkey off of 40mg methadone i was on for over twelve months and i survived i also have type one diabetes, cold turkey it, 36 hours of suffering and pain and you will be fine ( well kinda ) any way msg me if you have any questions im on like day 16 Cold turkey last dose i had was 80mg methadone and then NOTHING

how long have you been using? has it always been only 10mg? did you start the methadone to quit another opiate?
