methadone

I started out on oxy's, then  I heard of the Methadone clinic. I went there for a while but it seemed like they didn't want me to go down so I quit. I have worked my way down from 90mg of methadone to 25 mgs. I have some friends that have switched to suboxone, and I was wondering if I were to switch to suboxone taking 25mg of methadone, will it make me sick

From what I have heard, doctors usually want a person to be down to 20-30 mgs. before they switch over to suboxone. By no means am I an expert - I'm just going on what people have told me.
