Excellent point Weaver, have you formed your aftercare and sobriety support systems?
Depends on how long you think you will be on it. Over the years, I ended up so strung out on methadone, I had to use subs to get off. It almost killed me. Above is right, subs are a much clearer minded approach. I couldn't taper down to 30mg methadone, so my doctor switched me to faster acting opiates for 4 days and then I used the sub. Methadone worked for a couple years, but stopped working after a while. If I could do over, I would have never gone on methadone, and used sub as a maintenance to form my aftercare and sobriety support system.
also u cant just take sub its a whole program therepy, meetings, group changing ur whole lifestyle iv been on sub for 5 months and my whole life is diffrent
imo sub is better then meth however u need to b i belive under 30 mgs of meth to induce sub. sub makes u more clear minded then meth and is harder to abuse.
