Cocaine abuse - slight shooting pain in upper left arm ??

hey there, looking for some advice from other users which would really help. Been a user of cocaine for a few years but never abused it to much until the last couple of months, its now almost become a weekly pattern with the weekend off its escalated that much lately, I am desperate to stop but struggling. I've noticed I have started to get slight pain in the left arm when using, no major pain but I definitely know its there. I am first guessing its related to a future heart attack which really does scare me. but would like a second opinion. Any answer will help greatly. Thank you

hey Ham if you're desperate to stop but struggling, what a great impetus to quit!!!!  shooting pain in the arm that *could* be a precursor to a heart attack?  no matter what we or doctors say i think you must know that this is probably not good, and is a great reason to stop now, before anything worse happens.  when i used a lot of coke i got many weird aches and pains in my chest that freaked the hell out of me.  eventually i stopped.  everything about coke was just wrecking me, physically and mentally/emotionally.  imo the risks go up as you get older, but i think its dangerous at any age.  a friend of mine had a heart attack when he was about 43 from coke use.  he's okay now but it scared the bejesus out of him and he's clean now too.  stop now!  it's really worth it, and you are worth it.

Also mixing other drugs can cause it, mixing uppers and downers especially like xanax then doing a lot of coke.

It's unaswerable it could be a future heart attack system. Your heart is a muscle so muscle spasms happen in the heart even when it has nothing to do with heart attacks. Coke thickens the blood so it could be cause by your blood being too thick. Did it seem like a few hard pumps then after a few minutes dissapated? What I'm getting at is there's really no way to answer this without going to see a doctor. I can give you opinions but that's it. Depending on your health, age and weight and how much cocain you did can better help us GUESS what it is.  But my personal answer is, has it happens a lot lately? Is it happening Everytime you do coke now? Are you exercising and in decent shape? I'm willing to bet it's because it thickens the blood and you did a lot and it just pulsed (which happens with most drugs when abused). I guess it's your hearts way of saying slow down for the time being!!! But if your honestly worried either A go to your doctor or B quit coke for a couple weeks and see if it does it naturally.. Most people on this site are just going to tell you to see a doctor imdediatly so your not going to get to much help her if your still looking to continue using and not getting clean which I strongly recommend!!! Being sober is a hell of a thing I know it sounds scary but man it really isn't just get passed the first couple weeks then the physical part is all gone!
