neede some support

hey guys. i'm almost 72 hours off norco and need a bit of support. been trying to quit since march with a taper but most of you know how that goes! so cold turkey for me! having mostly mental issues, anxiety, depression etc... but i am also bi polar so i was expecting this. the hardest part is missing my son who is in the care of family while i do this. anyway, i'm stuck on a mountain alone with no one to talk to. husbands at work and we only have 1 car which is probly better for me to be trapped anyway. going to my 2nd meeting tonite but they are hard to find where i live. i had to drive 25  miles to go to my first meeting on tuesday. anyway thanks for listening.

I def agree with Vicki, keeping active is such a big help. It's so hard to do though when you're feeling so awful I know. I too have been in an isolated situation while withdrawing and taking a walk, a bath, reading,'listening to music, etc helps. Good luck! You're not in over your head, you can make it through this with perseverance and meetings (even if they are far) :)

Hi there---   It might help if you weren't so isolated. Everyone needs support during this early process and it's not always good to be alone...At least get out of the house and walk a bit.
Let us know how you're doing.
