oh and also, ive been using for about 2 years since my accident, started at low mg percs moved up to 30mg roxies (blues) about 3-5 a day and then i had to add dope because i would run out a week or 2 early... about 4 or 5 bags a day. at my pinnacle it was like 6 blues and 3,4 bags so yeah i was a pretty heavy user that amount would kill a normal person no doubt. im glad keepinstrong you are trying to stop after 5 months, good decision, it will only get worse and harder, i kno the pain ***** but the pain of w/d, addiction, ruined relationships, and being poor def hurts more. keep strong baby!

no worries hippise. im on day 14 or so (stopped counting tried to get my mind off of it). I STILL have the runs... ive been taking immodium but i found that it made me constipated and when i finally would get to the toilet i would still have diarrhea so i just gave up. the sweats and chills are gone! (what i considered the worst symptoms) still have aches and my herniations are always killing me but it feels so good not to be permanently uncomfortable like i was for  essentially two weeks. ive been taking a multivitamin, and ive been eating bananas but the rls doesnt rlly bother me. also, im out of the country, so this is sort of a forced recovery, although i appreciate everyone calling me strong lol. I hope i can mantain when i get back in a couple days! ill come back here if the thought of relapsing crosses my mind to u loving ppl. Thanks again!

Great news! After only 5 months your w/d should not be TOO intense. But you are in for about a week to 10 days of the nastie! It peaks around day 3 or 4 then gets slowly and progressively better! Hang in there you're doing GREAT!

GOD BLESS all of you for helping people get through this. I read a lot of post and everyone seems very sincere. I have been on oxycodon for 5months due to surgery. Today is second day off of them. Felt body aches last night and this morning. When can I expect the worse to come?

Hi Honey, Sorry for the late response it is a bit slow around the holidays. How are you feeling today? You are on Day 9? Please do not take upper. The feelings you are having are normal as your brain recalibrates and they will go away in ...I know you hate to hear this time. I look at the up and downs as proof that my Brain is healing. You should be almost over the diarrhea, have you tried Imodium for it? What are you eating? You need to keep yourself hydrated and I found that Bananas really helped me with the RLS the potassium helps in them and they are easier on the tummy and easier coming out (sorry) than most foods. Being worn out is normal are you taking a vitamin like Emergen C I drink one every morning still at 59 days. I promise you it will get better. What were you taking and how much a day? God Bless You and Merry Christmas, I know you may not feel great but you should feel very Proud of yourself for making it to Day 9 and your path to a New Life. John 3-16
