There is good news to 8 weeks of detox hell from telling my small town doctor i was misusing fentanyl to my 8th week of detox and getting a well earned comment that he is proud of me and how brave i was and regaining his trust in me was very important(i was extremly mean to him in my 6 day blackout that i had) like my handle says dhealer a doctor can be a dealer or a healer, when you get a good doctor who is a healer it can make all the difference just like all of you have helped me so much, but like he said i still have a long way to go, it is nice when the system works!!!

Being from the medical profession...and not always on the same page when peeps "blame" etc...i feel like if most peeps were honest about their addiction//99% of drs would stop rx-ing narcotics...there r some crooked drs out there making money off narc scrips///but for the most part///peeps r abusing drs to get scrips//and these drs r not knowing these peeps r dr shopping...the dr ends up in trouble vs the narc seeker/or both



I agree//good drs and bad rs in every avenue of medicin//many peeps come here blaming their dr for their addiction///folks we have to step p to the plate//read the literature given to us/if we do not understand we need to discuss it with our pharmacist//we initial that we understand with each scrip//if we do not understand we need to say so ..then

There r drs oput there whom peeps pay for scrips...as a rule these drs r "passed around thru conversation btw addicts/"Ok gotta dr who will RX u anything for 100 bux a scrip"  and these drs are out there///if u seek to find one of these crooked drs//do not blame it on the medical profession in general///not fair///if u look deep enuf/u will receive what u seek//be it the medical community or off the streets////most who find a "friendly" narc dr were looking//then again i see peeps who claim drs poured pills on them and they didnt know no better/hence r now addicted an it is the drs fault
///despite the pqackage inserts//despite access to knowing a drug was addictive as they sign a square beside their name at the pharmacy saying they know it is addictive,,if they did not understand the drug/they should not sign

I am in the medcal field and see whay insurance rates r so high//a friend who had carpal tunnel syndrome before her gall bladder surgery is sueing saying they bent her arm during surgey to cause her to have an elbow issue and a  new surgery!  Gonna sue for damages//since she doesnt work and the surgery is covered 100 % due to medicaid and BC/BS supplement//i dont see what the left over amount is that she can take from our tax dollars...She is already on disabilty and could work/ more so than i can with my back issues//but some want to blame//and take/and take/and take...leaving a handful of working peeps who get their paycheck reduced to the point to where there is no point in working anymore/// if we all jumped on the gravy train//who would pay?? perhaps one day many will...gosh dang i get tired of struggling and working when i could get on disabilty very easily!   there is a class who work///and a class those who do not work that those who work pay for those who do not work..I am tired tonight!  very tired as i have worked my boodie off all week/paid 25% of my last payceck in taxes/I work 1.5 days a week to support peeps who do not work!  and i am fricking tired!.and my friend is gonna sue and she is already on disability...i know for a fact no one "twisted" her arm during surgery...she will not win...but she will cost taxpayers money in the process///she is on disability for a psychiatric issue///perhaps addiction could be one and we could all ride the government bus??? but what happens when the slave dogs stop working?  political here but geez!  I have several friends getting checks and do not work...I see household of peeps each day and no one is working/why should I?

I AM TIRED!  i also have a pain issue///what would happen if we all stopped working?  to me it is like there r work horses who pay the much needed part of their paycheck to support those who do not work..i am sure i could join the disability crowd cos my dr would support me/but i do not want to/til i saw the new tax laws/i would be stupid to continue working//pride is pride but there comes a time when pride can be stupid...if i continue paying most of my hard earned money working while n pain//i may reconsider//i have tried to move for4ard with my own business and now being taxed so excrui

I am a small business owner on top of my other job where 25 % of my income goes to taxes...small business owners were just recently taxed over quadruple in taxes due to unemployment rates this yearover last year/in fact close to 5 times the tax they have to pay per employee...will put many small businesses OUT OF BUSINESS..so will make jobs/unemplyment a worse problem/sounds like we have a major brain in charge here???DUH?...as long as a segment of the population works..and an over 10 % segment does not/then adding 5 x the taxes to those who try and emply foks will drop/hence due tese small business employment taxes jobs will decrease//many small businesses will o under///The United Staes of America was built upon the premise that a person can excel///but when a small business owner is taxed at the new rates//most/including me/will fold//so then we have now more "unemployed"...call me conserative..when i jump off into the "non-working" population///I may change my views and also wanna be "taken care of"    only thing is//who is gonna work?  where will the taxpayers money come from to support those who do not work if WE all throw in the towel///scary///but true..I am seriously considering getting my dr to go ahead and help me file disabilty faster since i saw the new tax laws//I am working for almost nuttin now/ i am  thinking bout joining the ranks of those who sit back//and i am sure most deserve it//but feel i have put lots of years into the system and now being penalized for trying to grow my own business.tax increase x 5.//just do not know who will continue being slave labor for this country...
sorry for getting off on a tangent bout it not really being worth it to work anymore/not for me with the new tax laws...gonna join the ranks of the disabled very soon//but afraid i will be so bored!  I was excited bout my new business//proud//the tax laws make it impossible to succeed...so i am giving in i am thinking..gonna collect my check as well///perhaps???it will be hard for me to cave into govt checks/thing is to collect my check like many others i know/WHY SHOULD I WORK?

Back to pster//do not know why i got off into my  tangent but am sick and tired of hurting and working when many others do not...
ur acheivement is huge!
ur drs recognition of ur acheivemnt makes it even better...what is ur plan to stay clean?

On a more positive note??? LOL..sorry for my negativity when i shulda been paying complete attn to ur post rather than my political frustrations!
