I am 66, how long will paxil withdrawal last for me?  I have been taking it dor 12 years.

Did you taper or old turkey? I have been on Paxil about 12 yrs too 20mg, just started taper to. 15 this week. I am taking omega 3 supplements as well bc I read it an help the brain zaps. It's been some time from your post. Wondering how you progressed

It's been three weeks and I am dizzy and way too assertive, I might lose all my friends, I hate this medication.  And I did ween off very slowly.

Whoa hold on?!  I started paxil 8 days ago what wd from that?!?  What are the symptoms?  I took it before and just tapered and was fine. Now that I've been wd from vicoden I'm terrified of all medication

I was on paxil for 6 years. I stopped cold turkey. It took about a month for the withdrawls to completly go away. But they got better everyday after about a week.

You could be symptomatic for several weeks. It's best to taper off this medicine under medical supervision.
