it depends on the person and how much you take.  i am able to take a pain pill now and then when the pain is really bad, and it doesn't throw me back into the addiction.  you just have to be sure that you anly take a tiny bit then quit.  you have to really have self control.  maybe it is the reason you take it.  the reason i took it in the first place was genuine pain and it stayed that way. it was never for the high.  maybe that is why i can take one now and then when the pain is unbearable and get away with it.

If you are really an addict, the cycle will begin again...u will end up right back where u were before you quit...before I was physically addicted (I guess) I didnt take any pills for a like 6 weeks...I didnt have any and I was also having a procedure done and wanted to get pain relief...NOT! After the surgery, my tolerence did not go down and I could not take enough to get any pain relief..then I could not quit...that surgery was enough to get me back going and the next time I quit..was this time..and I felt it...I wouldnt play with it...tempting I know...but dont

Thats what I thought. A few usually turns into a few more and then more and next thing you know, you're back in it and can't get out. I wouldn't recommend it. You've been clean for weeks, hang in there, whatever pain you may have. I'm sure the withdrawal symptoms will be worse than the pain you suffer from right now.

depends. Is it wise to take it? No, not in my opinion. At a few weeks your brain still remembers the psychological and physical addiction. Also, what sometimes happens to people who detox for a few weeks and then try to take something end up taking a large amount because their brain remembers their tolerance levels and they can wind up dead due to OD.

You should take non-addictive pain medication. No narcotics.
