relapse :(

I'm so so so mad at myself. I took 2 percs on Sunday and 3 on Monday. I was really hung over and of course the pills really helped. Today (Tuesday) I feel like sh!t. Like literally I'm on day 1 again.
I'm really hoping I don't wd all over again. By the way I was 12 days clean before I relapsed.
I'm so mad at myself. It's totally not worth it.

You relapsed on booze, a mind altering substance then you continued with pills, I agree with dominosarah.

I wouldnt worry about the wd's, i would worry about what will happen if you dont get a plan in place and stop the insanity.  You have the power

ouchie I am really sorry you relapsed.  I've seen you around the site and you seemed to be doing so well!  but I of all people can definitely understand relapse as I have done it about one million times and only in this year!  lol   I agree with Rissa that drinking doesn't help.  many of my recent relapses have started with drinking.  jump right back on the train!  rooting for you

Hey 1987,

Im right there with you. Had it good and totally screwed up and am 0 days sober. I am sorry that it happened and I truly hope your body doesn't go into a severe withdrawal detox. That goes for me too.

I need to change my play dates and play grounds as "clean" put it. It's sad to cut out friends but they aren't helping so they gotta go!

Good luck friend I'll keep you in my god thoughts and prayers. Day 1 starts tomorrow.

I'm so sorry to read this, Ouchie.  Im my opinion you relapsed for 2 reasons. First, drinking and being hung over. Second, because you had access to Percs. Drinking is really not advised, especially at the point in recovery where you were. I'm not trying to be mean, but I can tell you that as long as you have access, especially easy access to pills, you will continue to relapse. If you are serious about long term recovery, cut off all access to pills. Whatever that means to you. It's critical. Aftercare, is also critical. There you will get support and tools to help you remain clean.

I wish you the very best. Time to start again. You can do this!
