Hi amber! I tell ya...I'm in the same boat with you! I was pretty ok at first then...boy howdy! This last weekend has just kicked my sneezing into overdrive. We are having some high mold/pollen counts already so I know alot of it is allergies but I doubt the w/d is helping. But, hey, that's about the only thing that's kicking my butt now so I'm not complaining! Hope you're doing great otherwise! :o)
thank you guys! If this is one of my worst symptoms then i guess im doin pretty good haha :) i hope its just withdraw too
You may have caused damage to your sinus but I know here in Cali the News says this is the worst allergy season we have seen in 10 years. Also I have found out that since we put our bodies through so much during using and detox that all of our sypmtoms and illness is are 50 times worse then they would normally. With time our bodies will heal and we will be able to fight off viruses and simple allergies. Love you girl keep up the good work.
You can definitely do some damage to your sinuses by snorting pills. My nose is constantly running and I haven't snorted anything in nearly 9 months.
You also could have just developed allergies, that can happen too.
Personally, I think your problem is threefold: 1) localized damage from snorting; 2) possibly a bad pollen year; 3) withdrawal. I think it's primarily withdrawal.
I'm hoping it's withdrawal, because it will get better over time without any damage to your system. When you withdraw, you sneeze. Here's why: withdrawal provokes an entire cascade of problems related to histamine release caused by the entire body going into an inflammatory state. Basically, drugs have put those normal responses to sleep. When abruptly taken away, or even with a taper, the responses swing like a pendulum to overdrive. Although this response is inconvenient and a nuisance, it is a completely normal thing. How long will it last? If it's due to withdrawal, it can be a month or two. Many of our forum members have had protracted recovery time from sneezing, blocked nose, excessive nose running, etc. Just hang in there--if it's really bad, perhaps a Benadryl at bedtime to help you sleep, as it is an antihistamine. It will get better though, I promise!
