Unfortunately snowflakes reply is dead accurate - as addicts we can certainly want to stop for our loved ones - but in reality we need to WANT to stop to be able to do so. I know it's scary to see a loved one in the grips of addiction, and it can leave us feeling so helpless. All you can do is support him, and let him know if he wants to stop you will be there for him 100% to help him.
Prayers he wants to stop and gets the help he needs.
Sweetie, I answered you on your other thread it will be easier to follow and help you if you stick to one thread.Like I said to you before the only way to help your husband is if he is ready to help himself, otherwise you will be fighting a loosing battle! He must WANT to quit you CANNOT quit for him you can be there for him when he is ready that is all you can do.Maybe you can get him to come to this forum and read some of the stories here to motivate him?
