with long term use of sub there becomes the possibility very pleasant wd from sub .I would try seeing the counselor and try going off it ct one more time .while you are getting recovery care then if it doesn't work check into sub ..Be aware its very extensive I would do a lot of research .It may be a good option for you but seen as you have never tried to get off your meds without a recovery program I would consider giving it one more try
Thank you for getting back so quickly! Seems I've read good and bad , about the same of each, but I'll keep looking. I had planned short term use but then read long term is better (here again, I've come across both opinions) I just moved to Austin Texas last week and need to find a good counselor/support groups (if anyone's from here and knows, let me know!!). I went to church yesterday and thought about letting some people there know. I'm really scared of going thru any kind of withdrawal again, but know it's inevitable, you guys really helped me thru some really bad times this past winter, I'm sure I'll be reaching out again soon, Lori
Do your homework on the Sub. That can come with it's own set of problems. I know for some they took sub for a real short time along with therapy/counselor and or meetings. Using is just a symptom of what is really going on with us so adding the recovery care will really help you out. Others who have used Sub will be on at some point. Let us know what you find out at your appt. You can get your life back without being a prisoner to these pills. There is always hope~~~~sara
