today seems to be VERY difficult although I am at work and over this past weekend I laid around at home.  Although I did do some Christmas shopping yesterday....I feel very very cold right now...I even wore a long sleeve t-shirt under my uniform...still freezing...and I keep yawning long and with conviction....please tell me these signs will go away and if so when.  I just keep going one day at a time...the holidays are coming and I want to enjoy them with my beautiful daughter.  I am detoxing on my own "Cold Turkey"

Welcome to the forum and congrats on 4 days!! That is great.  I think you are going through the worst of it and the WD should get better soon.  Check out the Thomas recipe on the bottom of the page; there are lots of good tips on there.

I have been on Vicodin 7.5/5, 5/5 for well over 5-6 yrs and percocet 5/325 for 3 months now I have been taking anywhere 7-10 Vicodin/day with 2-4 percocets/dayI have to be at work although when someone gets here I am leave and go home...I feel very antsy and flippin cold...I have no choice I must carry on throughout my days...no one knows nor do I want them to,.all weekend I did take a lot of HOT showers...wishing I could take one NOW!!!!!VERY ANYSY...I think I will walk downstairs and smoke...

Hi there, and welcome to the forum! What are you detoxing from? How much per day, and how long were you taking it? This information will help us give you better advice. Congrats on the 4 days! It's amazing that you are at work, as typically day 4 is near the peak of withdrawals. It sounds like your symptoms may be fairly mild. You can check out the Thomas Recipe, the link is at the bottom of this page, for some things you can do to ease the symptoms if necessary.
