tramadol hell

Hi everyone.  I have been off tramadol for 32 days and I still feel like I am in wd. I saw my doctor yesterday about stopping the neurontin she put me on to help with the wds but she said to continue taking it. She said I am still experiencing tramadol wd because of the length of time I was on it.  I don't understand.  I have never heard of a wd lasting more than 30 days.  Does anyone else have experience with this?

I am 35. I was on it for 13 years at 400-600 mg a day.  I am still having a good deal of anxiety, horrible fatigue,  dizziness,  etc.  I don't know what other symptoms are still there because my doctor is keeping me on neurontin.  I know at the beginning the neurontin took away the worst symptoms of insomnia and creepy crawling skin that kept me from sitting still. I am not sure if that would still be there without the neurontin.   I am also very afraid to stay on the neurontin.   I don't want to have a withdrawal from that.

Good morning!  It is such a long process.... are you at least feeling better than the first 2 weeks?  It must be so frustrating for you!!!  I have never taken tramadol even though my Dr tried to put me on it so I dont have any advice to give!  Im sure that you will get some though cause others have used it.  Like Debbie said you are healing and that is awesome!  Keep hanging on!!!

CONGRATULATIONS you are doing awesome. You are healing.
Yes detox does take literally months. There are different stages.
Depending on how long you used, the amount you used, if you tapered or went cold turkey, your age, other heath issues.
What symptoms are you still experiencing?
Keep moving forward.
Keep the faith,
Sending prayers,
Debbie
