Four kids are hard. I have 1 kid. but if anyone ever finds out your addicted to them and they tell on you, that could be a whole lot worse situation. Just reason with yourself and come off of them you know it's the right thing to do.

Well if you can, tapering is always easier on the body. Long term damage is always a concern for us all. Can't tell you. If you go off cold turkey, you will have the worst over in 4-5 days. Then you will slowly get better. Lots of us have done this, so I can tell you it is doable.                        There are 2 posts in my journals that you should read. The Thomas recipe and amino acids. These will help you either way you go.

SO you are taking a total of 40 mgs of hydros right?  that was kind of confusing...First off, the amount of actem. is high...That is not good..
You are at the right place and to be honest i wish i would of found this place at one yr.....When your tolerence goes up so do the pills , before you know it..Stop now, read all the info you can...i know it has to be tough with 4 kids, because i have 4 myself...but i promise you will be better off stopping now....
we are here for you anytime

It is confusing, what  are you taking? If it is 8-10s every day, you might want to taper off of them. To do this will make getting off of them easier. You need to let us know what amounts, so we can really help you. It is doable. A lot of people here have succeeded.

Just trying to understand first. Are you taking 8 10/500 hydros per day?

Honey you need to listen to me and listen good.  You're only 30 years old and you have four kids and probably no help around the house, right?  No wonder you have stress and need prozac!  The thing you don't need is Hydrocodon.  You're NOT addicted to it at 10 mg's a day!  Believe me!  You might like to think you are, you might  need the attention, I would certianly understand that, but one thing I know is pill addiction and you can and should stop taking that today.  Take Advil. It's much better for your belly and won't cause ulsers.  Are you seeing a Shrink?  If you're taking head med's you should be seeing a head Dr. especially if you have anxiety attacks.  But don't add to you're problems by playing with pain pills.  They're hell and you don't want to go there.
Love to you sweatheart,
Molly
