Great idea that you are keeping track and writing down the meds you are taking and EXCELLENT that you are cutting so far down!!! Be very proud of what you have accomplished and how well you will continue to do! It's not an easy road, but a road that has a path! Definitely inform your GP about it all and hopefully he/she can get you to only ONE medication instead of three!! You are doing great by going so far in between meds so be proud!! I think that it was great that you went out with your husband to have a meal and even though you weren't hungry, you forced some food down and that is what you need to keep doing. Eventually you will get that appetite back and want FOOD FOOD FOOD! You will feel like crap at times and just want to nap, and that is OK!!! You at least are preparing yourself and know that it will pass. Prayers are excellent!! More to you with prayers! Keep busy and enjoy leisure activities that you use to enjoy! Keeping busy is always a big help. Keep us updated!
Hi there, it sounds like you are doing really well. I do agree that you need to get a doctor though it sounds difficult for your situation.
I was going to suggest writing down every time you took a pill and what it was. I see you are now doing this.
It is very easy to forget that you have taken a pill. It becomes so automatic that one can't remember.
Not sure if you need an addiction specialist or pain management.
If Pain Management I would look for one that is also an anesthesiologist as they are more likely to help manage pain while an addiction specialist would help you taper.
The best thing is to find one that specializes in both. Can you try googling for one in your area? That is how I would try to look.
Again, I think you are doing very well with your tape, just try not to go too fast and your want to look at how many milligrams you are taking in a 24 hour period in order to judge the taper.
Good luck
