Hang in there. I still have days when I'm an emotional disaster, it's totally normal.
I have gotten so much help from this site, but have found I need face time with other addicts. Meetings have helped a lot; I was having a difficult day today, went to a meeting tonight and feel so much better and less crazy.
DITTO!!! We are here..In & Out but someone is always reading..Hang Tight it will soon ease up..No going Back!!!

You're on about day 5 off opiates aren't you? Those raw emotions and increased pain levels are exactly how most of us feel during early detox.
Do you not have any friend or family person you can talk to (in real life)?
What about a therapist, addiction counselor or a support group with other recovering addicts?
You are more than welcome to talk to us here....about anything you want....whenever you need to. There are enough of us reading at all times of day that someone should be here to respond to you.
Keep hangin on.....are you drinking fluids? Taking any epsom salt baths?
Getting any nutrients or electrolytes replenished?
Keep talking to us....we're here for you~
I'm a complete basket case when I withdrawal...and I'm on day 1 of withdrawals right now (after 2 days of extremely lowering my dosage), so needless to say, I've been crying most of the day. As time goes on, the train wreck crying lessens....but I still find myself getting very emotional over stuff like what you mentioned. I've been finding the forum a very good means of getting out stuff that is on my mind, and helping me to cope. Just by someone telling me that I can do this helps immensely. Hang in there, and post what is on your mind :)
That is very normal... We are here to listen... Let it out...
