Hello Ashleyrenee21
im sorry to hear where u are. The pain is overwhelming i'm sure. Like Clare said u are looking at 5 to 7 days of being dope sick, and its exactly like she said. I don't want to make u feel worse than u already do, but i'm sure you know its painful. As she said the longer u use the deeper you go. Addicion is (and this comes from my sick twisted mind) like a parasite thriving deep down. Each time we use, it feeds getting fatter and juicier. Then it wants more, and the juicier it gets the harder it is to get rid of. I'm just gonna throw it out there, did u think about going to rehab? I was hooked on opiates too, I feel ur pain hun i really do, and im sorry. i tried quitting on my own many times and couldn't do it, others can. If u really want to quit, there are 2 basic soluitions.
1 lock ur self in ur house, and tell soneome u live with (parents, husband, sister, friend, wathever) what is going on. They could watch u and make sure u don't slip up and can care for you.
2 in or outpatient rehab- I deffinetly recommend this. opiates are powerful. and you'll be around other addicts who understand right where u r. medical professionals could detox you of suboxone or methadone, and it will make the dope sickness pretty much go away.
Either way u gotta put the job stuff on hold for awhile. I know its probaly not a good time, but when is it a good time? In any case, we'll be here if u need any insight keep coming back. There are a lot of huge hearted people here who helped me also
lots a love

There is no set rule , but in most cases you are looking at 5 to 7 days with a bad flu. It could be diarrhea, anxiety, muscle ache, nausea and other flu like symptoms. How severe and how long, is hard to say. What I can tell you is that as hard as it is , it is worth it...The longer you keep doing this the stronger and more dangerous your addiction will get.
please get help..G_d Bless
