Adrenal Fatigue

Hi!  My dr. has recently put me on Armour thyroid  because I have symptoms of a low thyroid. Also, he ran alot of blood work and it showed that I do not have any DHEA, very low cortisol, very low pregnolone, my estradiol is 0.86, testosterone, free +weakly bound is 15 ng/dl, my creatine, serum is low 0.53 and my bun/creatinine ratio is high 34,
and my ACTH is 8 pg/ml. My blood pressure has been very low the last few weeks ( I bought a blood pressure monitor) and it has been running 85/45, 80/45 sometimes and then sometimes it runs 95/45 or in that area. I get light headed when it drops too low. He has put me on a low dose of cortisol, 10 mg of DHEA and 25 mg of pregnolone. What do you think is going on with me? Is it truely adrenal fatigue  or what do you think? Thanks!

PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome caused by cysts in your ovaries.

I am really tired of having to get a referral to a specialist. I am waiting on a referral to see a new endo and hopefully I can get that this week. Then it will probably take a month to get in. Don't they understand how bad some of us feel? I am really tired of it.
I have Blue Shield PPO and still have to get referrals. I have great insurance!!!! So tired of the waiting game and then maybe just maybe this dr can help me! Why dont they have a group of drs like on House that can take your case and figure it out???? Now, not in 2 months from now!

Keep me posted!!!!

Hello! I am going to a neurologists right now and he took a lot of blood work and I have been shocked at some of the results. My daughter is going to him for headaches and he thought that she might be low on progesterone and he thought I might be too. I was ok on progesterone but everything else is low. I have always thought that I had fatigue syndrome but I never had blood work tested until now.
I made an appt . today to go to an endocrinologist (well, a nurse made it for me) and I can't be seen until Oct. 21st! Well, I may be dead by now. It is hard to get in to one and you have to wait a lot longer than you want too! You should make an appt. (or get your dr.) to make one for you to really see what the experts say s.
My testosterone , serum  is 15 and the normal range is 14-76.
I do not see where he ran an insulin test. I will have that done in the near future.
My estradiol is 17 (which is low) the norm is 19-528
My progesterone level is 0.4 which I believe is ok.
I hope this helps. I swear , we are all falling apart!

Is your testerone high? I ask because I am having my cortisol and DHEA tested by salivia. I am waiting for results. I have hypothyroid, high testerone, low insulin, low blood pressure, high bun/creatinine. They tell me that I have PCOS, but doesnt make sense because my insulin is actually very low. I also have low estrogen and progesterone.

I am curious, what kind of dr did you see???

Thanks

the armour should not be started until after the adrenals heal. All the research shows that it will cause weak adrenals to crash.
