What does my serum cortisol result mean?

Hi people. What does my lab results mean? Thanks.

*My Serum Cortisol lab result:

*Year 2010: Cortisol Assay (a.m.) = 1.60 (Normal Values: 4.20 - 38.40)


*My Glycohemoglobin lab results:

*Year 2010: Glycohemoglobin = 5.46 (Normal Values: 4.70 - 7.70)
*Year 2011: Glycohemoglobin = 5.00 (Normal Values: 4.30 - 6.40)

I "think" it shows a low result for cortisol - but hard to tell. What time was the test done?

Also, you need multiple tests and other tests to show you have an issue. One test is not enough. Cortisol normally varies.
