cortisol levels normal

I did salivia cortisol test and it came back in normal range.
Does this mean that the adrenal glands are normal?
I have very high testosterone and low insulin levels.
I thought it could be an adrenal problem????
Is this test pretty acurate????

Anyone know about this test? Anyone have false results with it?

I really feel for u...I am going through the same thing, and have been, for 20 yrs!
I am 41 and have felt ill and unable to sleep, with "fibromyalgia" symptoms (caused by poor metabolism), have swollen lymph nodes, etc...(I am also worried that because my symptoms have gone on for so many years, I could have lymphoma.)
I know I have undiagnosed Hashi's...but, on top of it, I know I have adrenal problems.
Most Dr's give tons of drugs and alot of times, these drugs dont help to balance out our hormones.
I really think u should see a Holistic MD!!
One who knows about Bio-identical hormones and who will work with u to put together a proper eating and exercise plan as well.
What kind of Dr are u seeing and do they work with u on your eating and exercise plan?
Do they recommend supplements??

How is your sleep? Also, do your symptoms worsen  with your period?
Do u get your period regularly?

Lets stay in touch..we have alot of the same symptoms.

Your new friend,
KIM

Bioavailable Testerone 37 H
Insulin 1.6 L   (1.9-23)

They say I have PCOS too. I am supposed to take drugs to lower insulin that lowers testerone....problem is that my insulin is already really low!!!! I have asked them to check the adrenals for the high testosterone!!! I am frustrated, feel like **** all the time

brain fog, aches, exhausted.....

You might be in range with the test - but you seem a bit low at 7 and high at 11.

HAve you had your thyroid checked?
