I have this issue, I've purchased SoundPeats noise-reducing bluetooth earbuds, Bose noise-cancelling headphones, and a pair of ear defenders. Each helps in certain situations.

Yes it's a big difference. I can't take a lot of magnesium as i have kidney issues but the RDA is 350mg of elemental magnesium daily.

Is there a big difference when you get enough...how much do you have to take?

Thank you, I have never heard of misophonia, and I am in my 50's.  I have been reading up on it now.  When you mix this with depression...the mix becomes dangerous.  My history has shown this.  I have a lot more research and maybe make appointment with audiologist.  I have read that Kelly Rippa has a form of this.   And I have heard there is no cure. I have had Dr's say I may be bipolar or ADD, but this fits much better to describe my issues.  Many thanks!

I am the same way. I think its called mysphonia. I haven't seen a doctor about it either and I have had it since childhood as well.

I am unsure if I have that or Sensory Processing Disorder because I fall under both and it is all my senses.
