CONGRATS!!!!!!
Well I'll tell u this no one can make her be sober. I've been drinking for 14 yrs n finally decided that that was it I didn't wanna do it anymore. But I came to the point were I was giving it up I was ready for the new positive change. Not bc someone wanted me to or even force me. Bc I am also in mental health court and I drank the first 3 months bc I didn't care...but finally something clicked and was like I'm done. Ya it was hard n even here n there I'll have cravings but doesn't make me wanna do it. Just the alcoholic in me. So until she hits her rock bottom or really wants to quit that is when it will happen. Just stay by her side n try to show her the sober life really is better. Bc it is! Good luck hun
I am so glad to hear of your success with staying sober, did you relapse before you got to this point? I ask because my daughter keeps telling me it's not ez and it takes several relapses before you get and stay sober but I think she's telling me this because she hasn't made an effort to stop, or maybe she has and I haven't seen it? And maybe I don't have to see it? And it's not for me to judge.....
I'm so confused about this.
I don't mean to take away from your moment, I am so HAPPY for you and may you continue on your journey of sobriety, peace and blessings
