Am i allergic to alcohol?

Hey,

Im 22, healthy and into fitness.  I probably go out and drink once or twice a week but every time i drink more than a few pints, my stomach is in bits the next day.  It feels like someone is on the inside pushing out, to the extent it uncomfortable to wear jeans or a belt the next morning and if i want to be comfortable i just wear trackies as any pressure on my stomach is uncomfortable.  The inside lining of my mouth also comes off a bit, like i can actually bite bits off the inside of my cheek.  This feeling comes to effect from about 2pm the day after drinking, and lasts again until i go to sleep and night and wake up, even sometimes till that afternoon too.

Ive tried just drinking spirits, beer, white or red wine, drinking water inbetween, orange juice mixers, the lot, and it has the same effect the next morning after about 5 or 6 units.

I really dont know what else to try? Am i just destined to be a tee total? Help!

You need to be checked out by your GP just to be safe, dont over do those red bulls or you will be bouncing around the bullring lol, love Birmingham, cool City....

Hey mate

Yeah i guess so, its just pants!  Im just going to stick to the red bulls i think, plus it interferes with the gym training as i feel bloated.

If the lads decided to jump into a fast flowing river would you think hey this is cool and join them? Dont be a Sheep, do your own thing and if they dont like it then that is a poor reflection on your friends not you :).
I am not a doctor but if you get sick and you know it is due to drinking alcohol or alcohol is aggravating the condition then your body is saying stop drinking.

Yeah i think I probably should stop altogether.  You know what its like though, all the lads having a few beers and just a double water no ice for me!  Its pants!  Im just about to move house but ill be checking in with a doc when i do :(  do you think it is just a general allergy?

You need to see a Doctor about your condition and stop drinking until you do.
