Books

Hi all...... I am on day 9 without drinks!! woo hoo.. Having a very hard time w/ the emotional, mind part of it. No physical. I was more a weekend drinking no i mean BEYOND WASTED kind of drinking.. then about the last year turned into maybe once or twice a week. I'm still trying to get the courage to get my a** to a AA Meeting.,,,, that is scary to me! I'm still thinking god I know i am an alcholic,,,, but really?????????? How could this happen to me.. I just dont get it. Anyways.. Can anyone recommend some good books to read while getting through this first month???? Thanks so much! Kris

    When you go to AA you can ask someone thats been there a while for books they have the 12 step book the 24 hour book the big book as domino said and a few more books you can get some of them cost a little but not to much the reading will give you a little more hope that if they done this then I can to hope it works out.
