if one is accustomed to drinking at nite in quantity the body clock gets habituated to this as does the brain.....and it takes time to regulate the clock!Kobuk is right with medication being high at first to alleviate symptoms then tapered down as the person stays sober and the central nervous system has had time to repair itself.
Hi., the above poster is right, I was on 200 mg of trazadone when I first stopped drinking and now I'm on 50. Talk to your doc, maybe he can up it for a while. hope this helps.
Insomnia is a common issue in early recovery.......how much did u drink and for how long of a period...i know u had some recovery...did u recently relapse?Caffeine can play a role and we know that the AA coffee is HIGH octane!
