dealing with acohol

Im a alcoholic. Im on day four with out any booze in my system and today i can feel a difference in myself. I no its going to be a hard difficult fight but I have to fight this one out. Its come to the point that im not sure how I even still have my family,friends,or job. If there is anyone out there going threw the same thing it would be great to hear from u, even someone who has a heads up on what I will be all going threw would be great too.

Thanks today is the first day of feeling some emotion.Yes i have thought about church and therapy. I called my doctor to make a appointment but the office was closed reopens tomorrow so I will be calling in the morning to tell him to put me in addiction cousleing. I picked up extra shifts at work started writing a journal too. Did u deal with this or are u too a survivor from the horrible disgusting addictiontion?

Congrats to you on day 4!  I know that is not an easy accomplishment and that it took a HUGE effort on your part.  Have you thought about some form of aftercare?  There are many out there to choose from. Celebrate Recovery, SMART, therapy, church, and AA.  If you Google AA meetings in your area you will find many different times and locations.  You will find a group of individuals who can totally relate to you and will be a great face to face support.
