helping my brother

Hiya everyone dont no if I am in right place. ...but I need advice plz.....my brother is a alcoholic.....drinks white cider daily...up to 3 bottles. ...hes started to have sezuires. ...hes had 4 in last few years.....I dont no how to help him if he wont accept me wanting to help him......ive asked to go to docs with him....but he says hes ok...these sezuires are getting regular. ...hes haveing headaches daily. ...what do I do....x

You'll definitely need to be very careful about how you approach the subject. If you go in too strong his natural defensiveness will kick in because on some level he knows what he's doing is unhealthy.

Yes, In order for him to get help he is going to have to want it. It's almost impossible to get somebody help if they are not cooperative. I would suggest having a heart to heart with him and let him know how concerned you are about his health. Maybe he won't sober up for himself, but he might do it for you. Good luck..
