After 2 months of allergy attacks, I am dealing with all this

Hi, I am new here. I had allergies from age 35-45 every summer, I didn't go to the dr. but I am sure it was hay fever. This summer, they have returned, I am now 60. They started at the end of May, (mostly on the left side) an attack weekly, sometimes up to 4 in a week. The last one was 2 weeks ago. After the attacks, I would have one sided throat pain when swallowing, Eustachian tube hurt, some ear pain when swallowing. For a week now I have been dealing with the following: neck a little swollen below the ear, possibly glands, and a little pain, off and on mild headaches, top of head, around the ear, base of scalp (Tylenol helps this) this is ALL on the left side. Right ear if I press just a little on the little flap, brings on pain. I have no insurance, I pay out of pocket. I have a great doctor Ive had 35 years, and may end up having to see him. When I had the attacks I had hard sneezing many many times in 1 attack, VERY itchy eyes, palate itching, and terrible inner ear itching, Right now, I am just dealing with a little pain on the side of my neck below the ear. Today, I am having ear pain and pain when swallowing in the right ear. If I touch the flap it hurts, No idea what is going on,. Eyes are itching also. Thank you for reading.

Hello, ty for answering. I saw the dr today. Well, nurse practioner. She said my ears are clear, throat is good, no swollen glands, eyes look fine. She told me all my symptoms are allergy related. I sit here as I write this with ear pain in the other ear, and throat on the same side sore when I swallow. Does anyone else deal with all this during allergy season?

Hello Terry,

Welcome to the allergy forum. I see you joined Med help this month.
Based on your comments, I think perhaps it is time to make an appointment with your doctor to see what is going on. Pain is pain and you have to find out what is causing it.   I wish you well.   Eve
