Since I have an allergy to carba mix, what types of tape are free of carba mix free?

Everytime I use an tape, I get a raised, red patch the same size as the bandage.  I have tried HYPAFIX, and PAPER TAPE, to name only the last two I have tried.   I itches, burns and feels like I have a million ants biting all as once.  This happens almost immediately after affixing any time of tape to my skin. The bandages are worse than the wound.  I have had the allergy test done and was told I have a reaction to Carba Mix.  Can anyone tell me what type tape to try next.  Going to have surgery and and almost more worried about the tape aftermath than the actual surgery.

I know the feeling. I can't use any of the tapes either. Make sure to tell the doctor and nurses this prior to surgery. They will try to limit the amount of time that the tape remains on your body. The hardest part will be where they insert the IV to hold it in place. Some nurses will tie it down with gauze instead of using tape...but not many are willing to do this.
I get blisters from ANY tape/glue...which in turn makes the initial wound site that much worse.
When I go for blood work, I tell them to not put tape on me...which they do regardless. As soon as I walk out the door, I rip the tape and cotton ball off.
