Hello and hope you are doing well.

IgE levels are generally elevated in people with allergic diseases. The normal levels depend on the units of measurement but it is generally 0-100.  If it is higher than 500 it can generally be a sign of parasitic infection. A stool analysis can help detect this.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Do not dismiss any swelling of the face, mouth, throat as nothing to worry about and seek emergency medical treatment immediately. Subsequent exposure to the allergen will produce increasingly severe reactions and swelling in this area can close off the airway without warning. For you this is even more risky since you don't know what is causing the reaction.

It's hard to say online but good you brought him to a doctor . you may want to go to an allergist and get a detailed action plan for him .. sometimes when allergies are at play everything seems to happen at once since the body is run down .. but that's just a thought .. I'm not a medical professional. Please let us know how he is doing.
