fruit allergy

When my son was about 6 months old he went into shock due to a reaction to guava.  About a year ago he started to to have the similar reaction to passion fruit in a juice box.  He is really wanting to try an organic yogurt that has dragon fruit in it.  I have tried to find out if dragon fruit is in the same family as guava or passion fruit, but to no avail.
Does anyone know if they are in the same fruit family??

Hello there,

I'm not sure whether dragon fruit is in the same family as guava or passion
fruit.  If your son hasn't been to an allergist for allergy testing, this might
be an idea. An allergist would certainly know if dragon fruit is in the same
family as guava and passion fruit. Where I live, your doctor needs to give
you a referral to an allergist. I went to an allergist many years ago after being
referred to one by my doctor at the time. It's very important to know what you
( I'm using the universal you) are allergic to in case your son is allergic to
other things beside guava and passion fruit. I wish you well.  Eve
