strange smells and loss of taste

Has anyone experienced weird smells after having the crowns installed? It doesn't make sense but I am plagued by icky, rotten smells and at the same time, I cannot smell normally. I can't smell flowers or anything in a normal way like I did before the implants. Then, of course, I cannot taste food either. This has gone on since July of 2009. I had one implant removed because of persistent infection but still have 5 others. Since last summer I have had very bad body aches, insomnia, weakening muscles and generally just feel awful. Doctors just want me to take Cymbalta but I will not do that. I am trying to get over a pretty severe sinus infection but only on one side of my face. I have taken 3 rounds of antibiotics and still have horrible green mucous in the one side although it does seem to be diminishing. I finished the Z-pak a week ago.Now when I blow my nose I feel as though I an smell a rotten, infected smell on the one side. Yuck

I am not sure I understand. I thought I was posting my question in a forum that deals with problems with tooth implants. I Googled "tooth implants and
body aches" or something like that, I don't remember exactly what. I was looking for a possible connection between tooth implants and what the doctors want to call "fibromyalgia." My dentist has never mentioned that it could be caused by an allergy to titanium. I did not know myself that that could be the cause of my phantom smells and body aches. My question was to anybody out there who has experienced those phantom smells, loss of taste, AND body aches like fibromyalgia.
