Self-diagnosis, myself includes always ends up with the worst assumptions, cancer, parkinson or some other autoimmune disease.
it actually could be both, or utacharia from being in a dry room
Actually cold utacharia, hives form, when you were in the cold and then rapidly heated up such as entering a warm room. A simple test, would to put some ice cube for 10-20 minutes on your arm then heat it up, and see if hives form.
Went to get an allergy test this week. Doctor said i wasxnt allergic to anything but likely for me during my appointment my skin started to breakout when i entered the room ( which was hot) and he diagnosed it as cold urticaria. I never had this last winter this is the first time in my life this is occurring so is his diagnose wrong?
sounds like cold utacharia, its pretty rare. unless you have other allergies as well. im suprised he dint do a test. You can do one yourself, put an ice cube on your arm or some other skin area, for 10-20 minutes if you cant tolerate it, and then heat it up, or warm yourself up, and see if any hives form
